Gospel of John — Study Guides
The Gospel of John has been called the gospel of decision. From beginning to end, the gospel is pressing readers toward two questions:
Who is Jesus?
What will I do with Him?
Spend some time walking through the Gospel of John. These study guides are designed to help you go deeper on your own or with a small group.

Introductory materials
This introductory booklet is a good place to start before diving into the study guides. It covers the background and purpose of John's gospel, what makes John unique among the four gospels, the seven signs, the seven I AM statements, key words and themes, a series outline, and a chronology of the life of Jesus.
The Bible Project has some excellent introductory videos on their website. This link will take you directly to their Gospel of John page.
SERIES 1 - Who Is This (John 1:1-2:12)

Four lessons. Four portraits of Jesus. In less than two chapters, John introduces Jesus as the eternal Word, the Lamb of God, the Messiah the prophets described, and the one whose glory quietly shows itself at a wedding in Cana.
This guide covers the first four lessons of the series, John 1:1 through 2:12. Each lesson includes questions from the text, thought-provoking discussion questions, and Digging Deeper studies for those who want to go further. Works for individual study or as a companion to the Sunday morning Bible class.
